Assistant General Manager – Ready to Step Up?

We're looking for an Assistant General Manager to join a large, drinks-led bar and events venue in one of London's busiest locations. This is an incredible opportunity to work alongside a hands-on General Manager, supporting the day-to-day running of a vibrant, high-energy site while developing your leadership career.
This is a role for someone who leads from the floor. You'll be operationally strong, happy to jump into service when needed, and passionate about creating a great environment for both guests and staff.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting the General Manager with the overall running of the venue
Being highly visible on the floor and stepping into service during busy periods
Managing stock control, wastage, and ordering
Assisting with P&L management and financial performance
Leading, motivating, and developing the floor team
Handling disciplinary processes where required
Creating a positive culture where the team feel supported, engaged, and motivated
What we're looking for:
A current Supervisor or Manager ready to step up into a senior leadership role
Experience working in high-volume bars, pubs, or events venues
Strong operational and organisational skills
A hands-on leader who thrives in a busy environment
Someone passionate about delivering great service and building strong teams
The role:
Full-time – 40 hours per week
Average £200 per month in Tronc
