This role will play a critical role in enhancing The Wine Society’s cybersecurity resilience by architecting secure systems, implementing protective technologies, and proactively defending against threats.
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, the engineer will collaborate closely with infrastructure and support teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of systems, projects, and third-party services.
This hands-on role involves designing and maintaining security solutions, managing vulnerability remediation and leading incident response efforts. The engineer will also be responsible for configuring and optimizing security tools, developing automation scripts, and contributing to security architecture decisions. Additionally, the role supports awareness initiatives and the creation of technical playbooks and response procedures.
