Production Shift Supervisor
Scantec Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading FMCG Food Manufacturer on the outskirts of Glasgow to assist them in finding a Production Supervisor for their Day shift team.

In this role, you'll need to have strong leadership experience from within a Food / FMCG Manufacturing environment.

* 4on, 4off. 06:00 - 18:00
A brief summary of your role and responsibilities:
* Be committed and driven to succeed with experience of managing and developing a team
* Demonstrate delivery of KPIs and be able to build strong working relationships with both your own team and across different functions.
* Managing daily budgets, including labour and materials, and be responsible for reporting on these on a daily basis.
* Ensure conformance to daily plans, ensuring that your area is audit and GMP compliant on a daily basis.
* Put safety at the forefront of what you do, ensuring procedures are complied with which includes logging accidents and near misses if they happen.
* Responsible for directly managing a team, managing headcounts, and upskilling and developing team members.
* Oversee the absence management of your team and conduct investigations and disciplinaries where appropriate.
* Be your teams first point of contact and promote the company values and foster a culture of trust within the team
Skills & Experience required:
We're ideally seeking a candidate with similar experience in a Team leader / Supervisor role, from within a food / FMCG manufacturing environment.. Strong understanding of GMP and metrics such as OEE, Waste, Output etc.
