We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and caring Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant Multi-Academy Trust, supporting a range of welcoming primary schools across Chigwell.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Working closely with class teachers and SEN staff, you will support whole-class learning, small group interventions, and one-to-one pupil support where needed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support teaching and learning across a variety of primary age groups
2. Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities
3. Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs (including SEND)
4. Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
5. Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers
6. Promote good behaviour and encourage pupil engagement
What We’re Looking For
7. A genuine passion for working with children
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills
9. Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude
10. Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential
11. A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3) is advantageous
