You’ll lead a team of Compliance Business Partners, offering expert advice and challenge to ensure our insurance operations are safe, fair and customer-focused.This newly created role is a chance to shape how compliance works across our two regulated entities that are central to our UK business. You’ll be part of a team that’s brave, caring and responsible, and you’ll help us build a culture where doing the right thing is second nature.**Key responsibilities*** Lead and manage the UK Insurance Compliance Business Partner team, providing guidance, development and an escalation route.* Partner with senior leaders across the business to offer practical, professional compliance advice and challenge.* Embed compliance into decision-making processes, helping leaders consider regulatory risk and customer impact.* Oversee new propositions, business operations and incident resolution to ensure a controlled and customer-centric approach.* Allocate resources effectively and prioritise activities to support business goals.* Collaborate with other advisory leads to ensure joined-up compliance coverage across the UK regulated entities.* Maintain strong relationships with business managers and act as a trusted advisor.* Support the Chief Compliance Officer and Advisory Director in driving a positive compliance and conduct culture.* Act as Deputy to the Advisory Director when needed, attending key forums and steering groups.* Stay on top of regulatory developments and feed insights into business systems and controls.* Help review and approve financial promotions and customer communications.* Support regulatory change and contribute to wider compliance initiatives across Bupa.**What we’re looking for****Essential:*** Significant experience in a senior compliance advisory role in a leadership capacity, ideally within financial services.* Proven leadership experience, including coaching and developing teams.* Experience operating within a large matrix organisation* Strong understanding of FCA and PRA expectations.**Important:*** Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – with the ability to engage at all levels.* Sound judgement and the ability to balance business needs with regulatory requirements.* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a focus on collaboration and results.* Analytical thinking and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.* A self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.**Benefits**Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
