Childrens Services Coordinator
Permanent Woking - £30,000
Our client is a local childrens charity who are looking for a Services Coordinator to lead their childrens and young peoples services. Youll run and grow a range of inclusive activities for those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including:
* Afterschool Clubs (MonThurs)
* Weekend and School Holiday Play & Teen Sessions
* Evening Youth Groups
Youll plan and deliver fun, structured sessions in a safe, supportive environment. Youll also support staff, ensure high-quality service, and advocate for the rights of disabled and autistic young people.
This is a full time role (37.5 hours a week) working weekdays with one Saturday fortnightly (with a day off in the week).
Main Responsibilities
Planning & Organisation
1. Work with the Team Leader to manage bookings and session places.
2. Ensure all staffing needs are met by working with the Recruitment & Retention Manager.
3. Create fun, engaging session plans and support Group Leaders to deliver them.
4. Buy needed supplies (toys, craft materials, etc.) within the agreed budget.
5. Keep childrens profiles up to date (e.g. medical or behaviour plans).
6. Make sure the CRM system is current with session feedback and notes.
