Randstad Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs.
Responsibilities
* Support SEN students in their learning and development both in and out of the classroom
* Assist teachers with lesson preparation and delivering tailored learning activities
* Help manage behaviour and provide emotional support to pupils
* Monitor and record student progress and share feedback with the teaching team
* Collaborate with other professionals to ensure each child's needs are met
Requirements
* Minimum 3 to 6 months' experience in a UK school working with SEN students is required.
* Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support is an advantage but not essential
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
* Two professional references to confirm your suitability and experience
