Our Client And hopefully 'your new company' is a well established, truly independent Lloyd's Broker, who enjoy a client base emanting mainly from Africa. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for all aspects of service delivery - both client and market facing, but be fully supported and where required, trained. Work with clients to ensure accurate risk details are obtained. Oversee the preparation of broking presentations. Identify suitable markets and devise a placement strategy. Lead negotiations with syndicate, company and overseas markets. Maintain and develop strong market and and client relationships. Collaborate within the team to explore new business opportunities. Regional Responsibility You will have direct responsibility for both new business and renewal enquiries emanating mainly from; Africa, with an empasis on Sub Sahara, West Africa and Nigeria. Experience and required skills; The ideal candidate will have; At least three years London market experience (class of business expereince not important as full trainingwill be given). Good written and verbal communication skills. Relevant London market and international market experience. An eye for detail, so able to provide accurate documentation. Values good market, client and colleague relationships. Is able to work both in a team and independently. Can work to deadlines and has an eye for detail.
