Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Milton Keynes
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off (DAYS ONLY)
Responsibilities
* Planned & Reactive Maintenance: Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance across production equipment including ovens, mixers, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
* Breakdown Response: Reacting quickly and effectively to minimise downtime and maintain production flow.
* PPM Activities: Completing scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and optimal performance.
* Technical Involvement: Supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives (PLC experience is advantageous).

About You
* A multi‑skilled maintenance engineer with a strong electrical bias.
* Experienced in both planned and reactive maintenance within a fast‑paced environment.
* Ideally from a food manufacturing background (beneficial but not essential).
* Familiar with PLCs and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Positive, proactive, and team‑oriented.
