About you
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering, with a proven track record as a time‑served electrical and/or mechanical engineer
* Minimum of 3 years' post‑apprenticeship experience in a maintenance engineering role
* Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental best practices
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and proactive problem‑solving skills
What you'll do
* Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on production equipment and site machinery
* Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to increase equipment reliability
* Provide technical support for site facilities, plant services, and utilities
* Ensure all machinery and equipment comply with safety legislation and standards
* Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation in line with quality protocols
* Collaborate with operations teams to optimise efficiency and minimise downtime
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance and production processes
