Join Our Team as a Logistics Crew Coordinator at Ashton in Makerfield! About the Role Are you ready to take on a dynamic warehouse role that keeps you on your toes? As a logistics crew coordinator, you will be responsible for receiving and handling incoming goods, checking against documentation, and scanning away to locations. You will be a key user on the SNAP WMS system and responsible for managing work activity for the shift in a safe and timely manner. You will be working 12-hour shifts on our innovative 5-shift pattern (2-day shifts followed by 2-night shifts). What You Will Do Lead a dedicated team of 2 employees to ensure smooth and safe operations, adhering to all Essity Health & Safety regulations, operating procedures, and systems Receiving deliveries and unloading goods (inbound), r eporting any damages and or discrepancies at the point of receipt. Placing stock into IDC locations as directed by the WMS system Completing daily safety checks on all FLT equipment before the start of each shift and report any faults observed Carry out weekly workplace safety audits according to schedule Ensure correct and timely loading process es are provided with correct documentation Ensure rework is carried out to specification with customer expectations Work towards ensuring all KPI targets are met – H&S, Goods-In and unloading Ensure all SWI’s are adhered to, to ensure a safe working environment Complete thorough and timely handovers between oncoming and outgoing shifts Role model and promote the company beliefs and behaviour’s Complete all interface errors and WMS general housekeeping Create work permits for external contractors Who You Are Experienced: You have a background in the logistics / warehousing and are proactive in using H&S practices. Your experience will be invaluable in maintaining high safety standards. Qualifications: You will hold a current FLT License (Counter-Balance minimum) Problem Solver: You enjoy troubleshooting and finding root causes of issues. Your problem-solving skills will help keep operations running smoothly. Detail-Oriented: You communicate effectively and ensure your work is accurate.
