+ Role overview and purpose
Thinventory is embarking on an aggressive transformation to enhance its market leading position in the UK while at the same time expanding into new markets.
This transformation requires additional sales specific resource capable of challenging our prospects current thinking, and to introduce new solutions to resolve supply chain challenges. Your role will be to define and drive the business activity for the company and generate new business sales in line with business growth and profit targets.
+ Specific responsibilities
* To be responsible for the strategic growth of the business in the SME and corporate market, leading on tenders and bids, as well as identifying partners and joint venture opportunities.
* Develop an effective sales strategy to build a high value pipeline.
* New business focused, you will own a personal quota and sales target.
* Review customer supply chains and systems architecture and put forward solutions that integrate the customer and create a compelling business case.
* Provide a trusted advisor status to our prospects sharing knowledge and vision, and delivering them the confidence to change their operating model to Thinventory.
* Provide inspired and insightful solutions to capitalise on the organisation's excellent reputation and expanding technology and service provision.
* Monitor figures and create accurate forecasting.
* To take a proactive approach to sales with the ability to maintain high levels of energy through long sales cycles.
* Building and expanding relevant networks, attending events and building brand awareness.
* Keep Salesforce updated, be responsible for accurate forecasting and reporting of your sales pipeline of opportunities.
* To assist with market intelligence and messaging to support the targeting of campaigns into new markets and sectors.
* Provide sales leadership for key customer-facing events, participate in discussions, demos, presentations with key decision makers.
* Work independently as well as part of the team. Maintain & continuously update your knowledge of our solution propositions.
+ Skills and abilities
* Experience of sales either selling into or selling for Supply Chain, Logistics, IT Services, OEMs, Telco or BPO.
* Experience of using Salesforce
