We are seeking to appoint a passionate Maths Teacher to join the Maths Faculty at one of our partnership Secondary Schools based in Wakefield (WF4). The mixed comprehensive school caters for students aged 11-16, offering a safe and supportive place of learning where you will become part of a strong school community. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated and able Maths Teacher to make a real difference!
The School is looking for an excellent practitioner who is able to deliver outstanding lessons in Maths and work with the wider department in raising academic achievement and ensuring pupils make outstanding progress in Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4. The full-time role is expected to commence September 2025 and has the potential to become permanent for the right applicant. We welcome applications from ECTs and experienced Teachers; you can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role depending on experience.
The successful candidate will:
* Be able to inspire pupils of all abilities within Maths to achieve their highest potential across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Be committed to delivering consistently outstanding teaching and work with others in a constructive and collaborative manner.
We are seeking a Teacher with:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
* Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
* An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
* Right to Work in the UK; unfortunately, we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
