* Salary up to £70,000 DOE.
* Relocation allowance up to £5,000.

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team on a full‑time basis at our Chalfont St Giles and Beaconsfield surgeries. The position will pay up to £70,000 based on experience and will work a four‑day week with a weekend rota (Saturdays only). Endoscopy, endosurgery, or oncology ownership or interest is preferred but not essential.
The Wheelhouse has been established for over 50 years and emphasises clinical excellence and team engagement. With 4 branches and a total of 42 clinical team members (14 Vets and 20 nurses), we support each other to deliver clinical care and handle the majority of routine work.

As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture.
Wheelhouse Vets is a modern RCVS accredited practice. Our facilities include endoscope, laparoscopic spays, ultrasound scanner, DR and CR radiography, Class 4 laser, and 4 consultation rooms. We have vets with course certificates in surgery (orthopaedics), internal medicine, feline medicine, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology and ECC.
You Might Be a Great Fit If…
