My well-established Shrewsbury based client is looking to recruit and experience Accounts Administration Assistant to join its busy Accounts team
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be supporting the accounts function with general financial duties. You will have excellent customer services skills and the ability to remain calm in all situations.
Due to location own transport is essential
Skills and Experience required
* Book keeping experience desired
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* General IT skills required – MS Word, Excel, Office 365
* Knowledge of Xero advantageous
* Knowledge of CIS advantageous
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Proactive and attention to detail
* Be able to work in a team and under pressure
* Able to work within a team and independently
* Awareness of deadlines and the ability to prioritise work accordingly
Key Duties
* Processing of supplier invoices
* Supplier & customer account opening
* Supplier payment reconciliations
* Customer invoice processing on bespoke system
* Preparation of supplier payment batches
* Reconciling invoices with bespoke system
* Opening customer accounts
* Inputting invoices into Xero
* Query liaison with suppliers
* Invoice query resolution
