Paint Sprayer / Prepper required in the West Bromwich area
1. Basic salary up to £45,000
2. Hours Monday - Friday ONLY (7am - 3:30pm)
3. Overtime availability (1.5x)
My client is a reputable automotive repair centre renowned for absolute perfection, quality repairs and all attention to detail to ensure all aspects of vehicle body repair.
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer to prepare and paint the vehicle side or front ends to a high standard. This role includes repairing damage from bumper scuffs to chips, scratches, and minor dents, with occasional full paint jobs on chippy front ends. No welding or jig work is involved, focusing on light panel repairs.
Responsibilities for this Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Body Shop Technician include:
4. Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including masking and detailing.
5. Apply paint to vehicles following current legislation and quality standards.
6. Complete repair work independently as a Paint Sprayer.
7. Occasionally perform polishing tasks to enhance paint finishes.
Requirements for this Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Prepper include:
8. Full UK Driving Licence.
9. Experience in body shop or smart repair preferred.
10. Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to work.
