Acle Medical Partnership are looking for an Experienced Practice Nurse to provide and maintain a high standard ofnursing care for patients as well as providing nursing assistance to thedoctors and other members of the primary healthcare team. We are a very supporting Partnership and have a very good Nursing Team who pride themselves with excellent patient care and who support the team. Main duties of the job
Assistin and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by GPs andNurse Manager
Homevisits
ChronicDisease Management/ideally special interest in diabetes/Asthma/COPD
Removalof sutures
Urinalysis
ECGs
Venepuncture
Bloodpressure measurements
Routineimmunisations
Requestingbasic pathology tests, for example urine culture, swabs
Followingagreed clinical protocols with referral to senior nurses or GPs as appropriate
Othertasks including:
Maintainingand cleaning equipment used by the GPs
MaintainingGP and Nurses rooms, stocking and rotating items as required
Chaperoningand assisting patients who are being examined by another clinician.
Undertakehousekeeping duties including, general tidiness and cleanliness of nurses andtreatment rooms
Undertaking certain roles and responsibilities fulfilled by the nursing team. This will be allocated and discussed with the candidates.
