Breakfast & After- School Club Leader

Contract: Part-time | 25 hours per week
Working pattern: Split shifts | Monday to Friday | Term-time
£13.00 – £13.50 per hour
Are you experienced working with children and ready to take the lead in a friendly school setting?
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Club Lead to run a busy Breakfast and After School Club for primary-aged children. This is a hands‑on role where you will organise activities, supervise staff, and ensure children are safe, happy, and engaged.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading a small team of playworkers
* Planning fun, age‑appropriate activities
* Supervising children aged 4–11
* Creating a safe and welcoming environment
* Building positive relationships with parents and school staff
* Completing basic admin (registers, communication, stock checks)
* Acting as the main on‑site contact
This is a practical role - you’ll be actively involved with the children every day.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* Experience working with children (school, nursery, childcare or play setting)
* Reliable, organised and confident
* Good communication skills
* Strong awareness of safeguarding and child safety
* Ability to lead or supervise others (or ready to step up)
Desirable (not essential)
* Level 2 or 3 childcare/playwork qualification
* First Aid, Safeguarding or Food Hygiene certificates
