Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Residential Children's Home Support Worker to join our fantastic team looking after children with emotional behaviour difficulties. Our incredible children's home is in need of an ambitious, driven and motivated individual that is prepared to do things differently.

Support Worker Responsibilities
* Focus on obtaining the best outcomes for each child and young person placed within the home
* Assist in the smooth running of the home, promoting a safe and caring environment
* Work within the relevant legislation and effectively implement this within the home
* Work to ensure that the young person's care plan is met
* Be a role model - help and guide the children and young people placed
* Professional conduct of the highest standards
* Report writing, logging notes and key working records
* leading shifts and updating children's care plans and risk assessments.
* supervising other colleagues, challenging poor practice and advocating on behalf of children.
* Liaising with professionals networks to review children's plans and risk assessments.
