We are currently working with a range of SEN and SEMH schools across Newcastle and the surrounding areas, who are looking for dedicated SEND Teachers to support on both short-term and long-term supply basis.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in rewarding environments, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and making a real impact every day.The Role:
* Deliver tailored lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEN and SEMH
* Support students with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges
* Create a structured, safe and engaging learning environment
* Work closely with support staff, SENCOs and external agencies
* Manage behaviour effectively using a calm and consistent approach
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience working within SEN and/or SEMH settings
* Strong behaviour management skills
* A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
* Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
