Reed Education are thrilled to be supporting an Outstanding secondary school in Northampton as they seek to appoint an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated English Teacher to join their thriving department from September.
The Role
The successful English Teacher will:
* Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3–KS4 (KS5 available if desired)
* Plan, assess, and contribute to the wider English curriculum
* Inspire students to develop confidence and a love of reading, writing, and analysis
* Support learners of all abilities to achieve their best
* Work collaboratively within a high-performing and supportive department
This position is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers.

What We’re Looking For
* A passion for English literature and language
* Strong subject knowledge with the ability to motivate and challenge students
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
* QTS or a relevant teaching qualification desirable, but not essential
* Applications welcomed from experienced teachers, ECTs, and FE/HE lecturers looking to transition into school settings
