We are looking for an experience CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Designer or Technician to join us who will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans.
1. Create accurate and detailed 2D or 3D drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD or Vectorworks).
2. Modify and revise designs based on feedback from internal team or clients to meet specific requirements.
3. Work closely with creative, technical and production to understand the design requirements and ensure that drawings and specifications are accurate.
4. Ensure that designs adhere to industry standards, building codes, and other regulations.
5. Maintain records of design processes, modifications, and final specifications.
6. Assist in developing prototypes or models of designed products or structures.
7. Occasionally visit sites to gather measurements and other data necessary for design work.
8. Help develop templates and drawing protocols.
Requirements:
9. At least 5+ years of CAD drawing experience preferred.
10. Experience working as a freelancer and/or with creative agencies.
11. Proficiency in CAD software, understanding of engineering principles, and knowledge of drafting standards.
12. Ability to create detailed and precise drawings that meet exact specifications.
13. Capacity to identify and solve problems that may arise during the design process.
14. Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
15. Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
16. Staying current with evolving technology and adapting to new CAD software and methods.
17. Experience in experiential/events/exhibitions industry.
