Job Description
This is a client specific role for a female client based in the centre of Ilkley.
The Care Professional will be working a minimum of 4 hours per day – Monday – Friday.
The ideal candidate will live close to Ilkley and be comfortable around cats!
Being a driver is desirable for this role, as there is an opportunity to pick up extra work.
Responsibilities will include:
* Companionship and wellbeing support
* Support with everyday tasks from cooking a meal to light housework
* Support with washing and dressing
Qualifications
* Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
* Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
* Willingness to work and communicate professionally with Home Instead office teams and other social and health care professionals
* Willing to seek guidance when needed and follow instructions
* Excellent time keeper who is organised and reliable
* Ability to adapt to change quickly and make common sense decisions at short notice
* Ability to listen, communicate clearly and build relationships with clients and their families in a friendly and pleasant manner
* Good hygiene practice, including personal hygiene and a smart appearance
