An opportunity has arisen for a band 6 sister/charge nurse on the Stroke floor at Calderdale Royal Hospital. We are a bedded area that encompasses an 6 bedded HASU and 8 bedded ASU as well as a busy rehabilitation area.
We are a hardworking, motivated and friendly team. If successful you will be well supported by our nursing and therapy team have opportunities to participate in audits, incident reporting, roster creation, staff appraisals and coordinating the floor in the absence of the ward manager.

Coordination of shift and supporting junior colleagues
* Escalation to members of MDT
* Investigation of incidents and attendance at panel meetings, completion of Route cause Analysis (RCA)
* Roster creation and daily management e.g recording shifts
* Appraisals of junior staff
* Weekly and monthly audits
* Attendance management
