What you'll do
As a Pre-Sales Solutions Specialist for Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain, you'll be integral to our UK sales team. You'll collaborate with account teams to design and position high-value solutions for finance and/or supply-chain challenges, turning your technical depth into clear business solutions with tangible value-driven outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Lead discovery workshops, solution design sessions, and executive briefings.
* Conduct proof-of-concepts, demonstrations, and deep-dives of Dynamics 365 Finance & SCM (including integrations, analytics, and Power Platform extensions).
* Develop trusted advisor status with clients.
* Contribute to pipeline and revenue growth through participation and coordination of demand generation activities (customer workshops, tradeshows, company events).
* Collaborate with the Sales team, Client Groups, Delivery Leads, Consulting teams, and Microsoft Account Executives on account planning and amplification of our primary Business Application priorities.
* Mentor team members and share best practices.
* Ensure seamless transitions to delivery teams and build partnerships with Solution Architects.
* Infuse the Sales Plan by contributing to pipeline and revenue growth through demand generation activities.
* Support ISV and partner ecosystem initiatives across Power Platform, AI, Co-Pilot, Logic Apps, and Azure.
* Engage clients through storytelling, presenting technical concepts at the right level for diverse audiences.
* Translate technical capabilities into ROI-focused narratives and business cases; create compelling proposals and RFP responses.
About You
Technical Skills
* 5+ years in pre-sales or solution selling with Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
* Deep knowledge of core modules and hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and common integration patterns.
* Proven experience in POC development, system architecture, and performance optimization.
Storytelling Skills
* Excellent presentation and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Consultative approach and ability to co-design solutions.
* Strong storytelling capabilities highlighting user journeys and ROI.
Business Value & Value Selling
* Knowledge of value-selling frameworks and ROI modeling.
* Ability to quantify benefits and articulate them in business terms.
* Experience with commercial models, TCV estimates, and licensing discussions.
