Technician in Catering (On‑Site)
Starting salary is £26,310 per annum pro‑rata*.
*Based on working 41 weeks per year, this equates to a starting salary of £23,893 per annum. Payment in lieu of holiday is made through the enhancement of the hourly rate.
We are recruiting for a Technician in Catering to join our Suffolk Centre for Culinary Arts. You will be required to assist with day‑to‑day activities in our Centre for Culinary Arts to support students studying for Hospitality qualifications.
Responsibilities
* Assist with day‑to‑day activities in the Centre for Culinary Arts.
* Support the maintenance of clean, hygienic working environments and ensure maintaining still areas.
* Contribute to wider College health and safety activities, including undertaking training in first aid and fire marshal.
* Help and support staff and students as required.
* May be required to work at and travel between campuses.
Qualifications
* Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject area.
* Relevant professional industry experience.
* Good understanding of health and safety, and willingness to undertake further training.
