Maintenance Operative Location: Village location between Aylesbury and Bicester Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour Duration: Temp-to-Perm Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to join our client on an ongoing assignment in a rural location between Aylesbury and Bicester. This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you’ll play a key part in supporting refurbishment and upkeep tasks. Due to the location, own transport is essential. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out general maintenance and refurbishment duties Stripping out old fittings and furnishings Cleaning and preparing areas for reuse Installing, trimming, and replenishing new materials Performing varied repair and maintenance tasks as required Supporting with refurbishment works to ensure high-quality finishes Ensuring work areas are kept tidy and safe Working outside in all weather conditionsThe Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a maintenance role is advantageous but not essential Previous experience with carpentry is an advantage Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a teamIf you are hardworking, hands-on, and looking for ongoing work in a practical role, we would love to hear from you.
