About the Role
The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider, powered by our dedicated team of 4,000 'orange heroes'. We are experiencing unprecedented growth and are excited to invite skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanics to join our Roadside Patrol team.
Your Responsibilities
As a Roadside Mechanic, you will:
* Utilize your Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* Demonstrate technical, electrical, and diagnostic expertise.
* Maintain a customer-focused approach in all interactions.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
* Be flexible to work at relatively short notice.
* Be open to travel and overnight stays if necessary.
Working Conditions
This role involves working the equivalent of 40 hours per week without a set roster. You will receive your schedule seven days in advance, with core hours communicated three days prior. Your shifts will fall between 0600 and 0200, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
