Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) is seeking a Part Time Locum Consultant Psychiatrist to join The Beacon, a 17‑bed AIMS‑accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit in St Albans. This fixed‑term position provides an exciting opportunity to deliver high‑quality, recovery‑focused psychiatric care within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation service.
Responsibilities:
* Provide consultant‑level clinical leadership for up to 8 inpatients at The Beacon.
* Hold Responsible Clinician (RC) responsibility for individuals during their 16–20‑week transition period on the EROS pathway post‑discharge.
* Conduct assessments for referrals into the rehabilitation pathway.
* Contribute to ongoing service development in line with HPFT’s strategic “Great Together” plan.
* Work collaboratively within a highly experienced MDT, contributing to safe, effective and compassionate care.
