Title and Summary
The Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Vocalink Limited (VLL) will oversee financial operations, controls, and strategy for the regulated business, reporting to both the CEO of Vocalink and the CFO of Real Time Payments. The role involves working closely with management, the board, and regulators to align financial practices with corporate strategy and legal requirements.
Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies; provide insights for decision-making, growth, and risk management; ensure capital management and financial planning.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations; maintain relationships with regulators and auditors; oversee financial reporting and internal controls.
3. Risk & Financial Management: Manage financial risks; develop mitigation strategies; guide financial transactions, acquisitions, and investments; oversee treasury functions.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Advise CEO and board on financial matters; communicate financial performance and risks to stakeholders.
5. Operational & Performance Management: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis; collaborate with regional and global teams; optimize costs; leverage digital finance solutions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA preferred
* Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) or CFA
* Extensive experience in financial leadership within payments/banking regulated industry
* Experience with complex stakeholders and regulators; reporting to a board
* Proven risk management and strategic financial planning skills
* Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience managing geographically dispersed teams; international experience is a plus
