Overview
As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve working in a post office, bakery, supporting online services, or our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you’ll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.

You’ll keep our shelves stocked and support sales, helping us offer more choice and exciting new services to our customers. You’ll be a familiar face in the community, getting to know customers and helping us stay connected with local and national charities. You’ll also champion Co-op membership and help drive the growth of our unique business.
Responsibilities
* Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift
* Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations
* Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members
* Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes
* Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth
Qualifications and Skills
* The ability to work flexibly and lead by example
* Skills in retail, merchandising, or team management (experience not essential)
Working pattern
A mix of opening, closing, and mid-day shifts, with flexibility across the week including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift. Either Friday after 6pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday. We’ll discuss your availability further at interview.
