CGP is No.1 in our field (educational publishing), but were just as passionate about our local community thats why we continue to run three village shops in Broughton-in-Furness. We offer our customers a great service, but the retail market is tough. We want our butchers, bakers, and grocers* to thrive, so thats where you come in.
Youll be a perfect fit for this new Office Coordinator role if youre highly organised, methodical, and numerate. Youll also be great with people as youll deal with customers, suppliers, and, at times, deputise for the manager.
Opening times vary, but youll need to be available to open and close the shops when required (i.e. you could be asked to work from 8.00am or up to 6.30pm). And, its very likely youll be working some Saturdays and bank holidays to deputise for the manager. This is expected to be a full-time position, but part-time will be considered for the right candidate its flexibility thats key.
*And, yes, we do also have candlestick makers!
