Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Office Administrator to provide essential administrative support to our Sales and Operations teams. This role is central to ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations, supporting sales activity and maintaining strong communication with both internal teams and customer.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the Sales team, including preparing and creating customer quotations
* Process customer on-hire and off-hire contracts accurately and efficiently
* Provide administrative support to external Sales team members, ensuring timely and efficient handling of requests and documentation
* Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, directing customer enquiries to the appropriate team members
* Manage and maintain CRM data, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely updates
* Perform general administrative duties to support both Sales & Operations teams
* Take initiative in identifying opportunities to support the team including the management team with administrative tasks, improving efficiency and effectiveness
* Support continuous improvement of administrative processes and systems
* Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as required to support the business operation
Skills & Experience
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent phone manner with confidence handling customer calls
* A positive “can-do” attitude with a willingness to take initiative
* Highly organized with strong time-management skills
* Efficient and detail-orientated, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Relentless in follow-up to ensure tasks and actions are completed
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Experience using CRM and ERP systems ( or ability to learn quickly )
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm
£28,000-£30,000 per year (Depending on experience)
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Probation: 6 months
