Oracle Finance Consultant - Fixed Assets, EBS
The location of the role is remote (occasional site visits in London, must be UK based worker) .
The pay rate on offer is £700 - £736 per day (via Umbrella) .
The duration of the contract is 4 months .
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2.6 Functional Consultant with in-depth knowledge of Fixed Assets modules. The successful candidate will support and enhance Oracle Financials processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
Key accountabilities of the role:
Lead the functional design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle EBS 12.2.6 modules: Fixed Assets.
Provide support for month-end and year-end close activities.
Investigate and resolve issues related to Fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
Help to develop and support the execution of test scripts for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Collaborate with technical teams to support customisations, interfaces, data migrations and reporting requirements.
Key skills and experience:
Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Financials, specifically R12.2.6.
Strong functional expertise in: Fixed Assets (min 10 years of experience ) - setting up and configuring the Fixed Assets module, including asset categories, depreciation rules, and tax books
Strong understanding of asset lifecycle processes: acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, impairment, and retirement.
Experience with mass additions, asset transfers, asset books, and reporting tools (e.g., FA Register, FA Additions Report).
Ability to produce high-quality functional design documentation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
