A leading international EPC contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of major energy and infrastructure projects across multiple UK sites.
The Role
You will play a key role in site‑based commercial and contract management, working closely with delivery, technical, and subcontractor teams to ensure progress, cost control, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
* Tracking daily, weekly, and monthly progress of quantitative site activities
* Collecting and analysing subcontractor progress data
* Identifying delays or bottlenecks and reporting findings to site management
* Collaborating with technical teams to understand specifications and scope of works
* Preparing progress and forecast reports highlighting achievements and risks
* Maintaining accurate site records, including daily reports, material deliveries, and labour statistics
* Attending site and subcontractor coordination meetings to ensure programme and scope alignment
* Monitoring subcontractor compliance with technical quality standards and H&S requirements
* Raising and reporting technical or quality non‑conformance issues and supporting corrective actions
What You Bring
* Strong understanding of BoQs, construction cost control, and contract management
* 3+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying or site‑based commercial role
* Proven experience verifying quantities, preparing cost reports, and managing variations
* High level of attention to detail with strong analytical capability
* Ability to communicate effectively within multi‑disciplinary project teams
* Proficiency in cost control systems and MS Excel
