They must have a good understanding of the specific needs of children with autism and a strong desire to learn more. They will ideally have experience of effective teaching and learning within the context of a specialist autism provision/SEN setting They must be a strong communicator and team player and be able to engage effectively with the children, staff - including link mainstream class teachers, and parents/ carers on a daily basis.
