Job Overview
Our client is a successful Civils Merchant seeking an experienced Internal Sales Professional with proven civils sales experience. The role involves proactive customer engagement, quotation management, and new business development within the civils supply sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with customers via telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings to gather project information, provide product knowledge, and upsell where appropriate.
* Generate and follow up on quotations, ensuring accurate pricing and timely conversion into orders.
* Manage account relationships and develop new business opportunities.
* Maintain detailed and proactive communication with customers to ensure high levels of service.
Requirements
* Prior sales experience in the civils sector (or with companies selling civils products).
* Strong communication skills, proactive attitude, and attention to detail.
* Ability to think on feet and demonstrate sound product knowledge.
* Comfortable using phone and email to coordinate and close sales.
