Due to increased demand within the department, our client now has a requirement for a Paint Shop Manager. Job description: To manage and oversee the activities throughout the paint department. DIMENSIONS: * Ability to Project manage. * Overseeing the scheduling of all the work through the department, ensuring all schedules are lean and efficient, with internal processes adhered to. * Responsible for the daily performance of the Paint department, ensuring the department is achieving KPIs and managing operational resource correctly. * Control labour requirements. * Recruit, develop, and appraise team members, setting annual targets. * Manage paint and consumable inventory. * Plan future capacity and execute burn down plans as needed. * Offer technical support on painting, prepping, masking, and de-masking. * Communicate and feedback within your team. * Ensure all staff have the required competence to undertake their roles, and that they are working to the same standards, providing the necessary training where appropriate. * Ensure all records are kept up to date. * Liaise with relevant managers and other colleagues on customer queries. * Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, ensuring that all staff are complying to the relevant Health & Safety protocol. * Moti...
