The Role
We are seeking a proactive, detail-driven People Assistant to support our People Team in delivering exceptional front-line People services across the employee lifecycle.
You’ll play an integral role in providing a comprehensive, customer-focused service, supporting everything from onboarding new starters to managing leavers, changes, and day-to-day People queries.
We’re looking for someone who understands the bigger picture of their role - who recognises how their work contributes to our wider People strategy and how every detail supports an outstanding employee experience. You’ll be hands‑on, organised, and, passionate about making a real impact through accuracy, proactivity, and care in everything you do.
Beyond the day‑to‑day, you’ll also have opportunities to get involved in projects and initiatives that shape how we attract, develop, and retain our people. You’ll be part of an incredible People team who are always on hand to guide, support, and collaborate with you as you grow into the role.

* CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards it)
Job Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate, timely, and proactive People administration across the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding and probation to changes, leavers, and everything in between
* Manage the People inbox, triaging and escalating queries effectively
* Support the preparation of the monthly payroll by ensuring all employee changes, new starters, and leavers are accurately captured and processed ahead of payroll cut-off
* Become an HRIS superstar – know our system inside out and using it to drive accuracy, insight, and efficiency across the employee lifecycle
* Constantly look for opportunities to streamline, automate, and simplify processes through technology – making our People operations smarter and more efficient
* Get stuck in with wider People projects that shape our People strategy – whether that’s process improvement, supporting our OKR cycle, or supporting employee engagement programmes
* Support our People Partner, L&D Partner, and Recruiter to help deliver a seamless People experience and joined‑up working processes
* Ensure all People records are up to date and are maintained in line with GDPR, data protection, and audit requirements
