We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Manager to lead a new residential service in Horley. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Care Manager passionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling, independent lives.
The service supports 16 adults across three adjoining buildings, offering a mix of self-contained flats and shared residential spaces. As Care Manager, you will lead a team of 20 staff during the day, ensuring person-centred care focused on active support and positive risk-taking. Your responsibilities include staff coordination, fostering an empowering environment, attending management meetings, and participating in the on-call rota.
This role requires working closely with management and central teams to uphold high standards across services. It is ideal for a Care Manager who thrives on creating inclusive communities, delivering high-quality support, and leading with purpose and empathy.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care Leadership or equivalent
* Experience managing residential care services for people with LD/Autism, including team management and compliance with health and safety regulations
* Strong leadership skills to foster positive relationships and guide teams
* Excellent communication and IT skills
