We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Junior IT Engineer to support the installation and maintenance of infrastructure systems within the business to ensure maximum efficiencies and productivity at every level of the business.
This is an office based role, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm based in Buxton.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the installation and maintenance of infrastructure systems.
* Testing and verifying infrastructure systems to ensure that that they operate appropriately and reliably.
* Connect and set up hardware as required.
Additional responsibilities
1. Provide support for security and backup procedures of all technology and systems including Disaster Recovery.
2. Preparation of hardware for disposal when appropriate, ensuring hardware is stripped and secured before disposal.
3. Support upgrades of hardware.
4. Keep up to date with new technology.
