Job Description
3. Reporting to a partner you will handle the development her team, attraction of new talent, delivering / overview of technical work, client stakeholder management and ensure all the correct processes and procedures are followed.
4. Develop, retain and motivate junior members of staff and assist in the management of the team on a day-to-day basis
5. Proactively monitor and help to resolve people issues, provide constructive input to colleagues, identify and act upon own and team training and development needs, provide support to career planning of team members
6. Management of budgets, fees targets, WIP and debtors
7. Advising on an array of practice queries when necessary
8. Act as one of the main points of contact within the office for clients, keeping them informed of progress in relation to all aspects of service delivery and maintaining regular contact with them
9. Review work completed by junior team members and resolving all issues
10. Ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and set deadlines
11. Working and liaising with colleagues in other offices/departments as necessary to provide high quality client service
12. Knowledgeable of the firm's services and able to cross-sell those services into the client base
13. This position is primarily based in the office due to the people management nature of this role.
14. Ideally, the successful individual will be based in the office 4 days a week.
The Successful Applicant
15. ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
16. Have proven experience of working in a practice environment
17. Experience in managing an audit portfolio
18. Have a proven track record of maintaining strong client relationships
19. Have a proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering client solutions
20. Be a motivated individual and able to work alone or as part of a team
21. The ability to take responsibility and use own initiative to resolve problems and issues
22. Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels
23. Strong organisation and planning skills and attention to detail
24. The ability to positively embrace changes and new challenges
