Finance Key Account Manager
Location: Hybrid (minimum 50% office-based), NG1 - Nottingham
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Bonus (5–7%)

Are you a finance professional with a passion for delivering excellent client service and driving process improvement? We're looking for a Finance Key Account Manager to manage the financial relationships with key clients and play a central role in shaping client-facing financial operations.
About the Role
This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end financial relationships with major clients. You’ll work closely with teams across the finance function, acting as the central point of contact for all financial matters related to your assigned client accounts.
You’ll manage the full financial lifecycle — from client onboarding and e-billing to credit control, reporting, and continuous process improvement — ensuring seamless service delivery both internally and externally.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in legal services is essential
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance or client management role, ideally within a professional services environment
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident working with clients and senior stakeholders
* Proactive and collaborative, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
* High level of numeracy and ability to interpret and act on financial data
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word; experience with legal systems such as Aderant is an advantage
* Resilient, adaptable, and confident in driving change and solving complex issues
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary financial contact for key clients and internal stakeholders
* Lead and coordinate all financial processes including billing, credit control, client setup, and reporting
* Design and interpret financial reports tailored to client needs
* Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
* Collaborate closely with internal teams and senior stakeholders to ensure aligned service delivery
* Support leadership on the implementation of new financial systems and best practices
* Lead or contribute to projects focused on financial service optimisation
* Allocate work, oversee SLAs, and support team members where needed
* Travel to client offices as required
