Job Title: 2-1 SEND Support Assistant - Full Time Location: Solihull Start Date: After Half Term Contract: Full-time (5 days per week) Rate: £100 - £110 per day (dependent on experience) Monarch Education, part of Affinity Workforce, is working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Solihull to recruit a 2-1 SEND Support Assistant to work full‑time within a class with 2 pupils and 2 other TA's. This role involves working within an unofficial resource base, supporting 2 pupils in recpetion who are non verbal. The school is looking for a highly experienced, confident practitioner who can work independently, take initiative, and adapt strategies to meet individual pupil needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and is passionate about making a genuine difference to children who require additional support. The role is full-time, Monday-Friday, starting after half term and continuing until the end of the academic year. The Ideal Candidate Will: Have substantial experience working with children with SEND in EYFS Be confident working independently and within a team Able to plan actitvies in line with the EYFS curriculm to keep pupils engaged and motivated Build strong, trusting relationships with children who may have complex needs or require tailored emotional support. Use consistent, calm, and positive behaviour‑management approaches. Work collaboratively with the SENCo, class teachers, and the wider support team to deliver personalised learning. Show patience, resilience, and a child‑centred approach at all times. Have excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and flexible attitude.
