We are seeking to lead the Healthy Families Team in delivering the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme and Public Health Nursing Programme, aligned with local and national public health priorities.
There are two full-time posts: one based in Mansfield and one in Ashfield.
The Mansfield Healthy Families Team provides a high-quality, integrated service to the local population, working in partnership with Children’s Centres and supporting children, young people aged 0-19, and their families.
The team is a skilled, multidisciplinary group led by Specialist Public Health Practitioners, offering excellent training, induction, and a supportive work environment.
The role includes services to antenatal women, completion of the Healthy Child Programme for under 5s, enhanced programmes within schools and community settings for ages 5-19, breastfeeding support, and leadership within the 0-19 cluster team.
A full UK driving license and vehicle for business use are required; reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled applicants in line with the Equality Act 2010.
Applicants will need to pay for their DBS check, with costs deducted from salary (£26.40 standard or £54.40 enhanced). Enrolment in the DBS Update Service is encouraged, with an annual fee of £16.

The role requires working flexibly across home, school, and community settings to meet service needs.
