Job Description
* Provide efficient service for guest registration and departure; maintain accurate guest accounts and provide helpful information.
* Attend to all incoming calls professionally and politely, striving to provide total customer satisfaction.
* Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.
* Control guest and hotel accounts, ensuring charges are accurate and posted promptly.
* Handle credit and cash transactions securely, issue room keys, and maintain guest confidentiality/privacy.
* Communicate effectively between hotel guests and all hotel departments, both verbally and in writing.
* Operate the switchboard efficiently, handle calls promptly, greet callers according to Accor policy, and transfer calls to relevant departments.
* Accurately document all internal and guest messages and distribute them as per hotel procedures.
* Maintain an up-to-date internal phone list for accurate call transfers. Connect international and operator-assisted calls, recording charges accurately.
* Assist in screening calls for reservations and provide accurate, up-to-date information.
* Promote hotel facilities and maximize sales through sound product knowledge and selling skills.
* Perform other duties as requested by management and supervisors.
Qualifications
* Some experience in retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing role.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills.
* A positive, can-do attitude.
