Responsibilities: We will expect you to take ownership of a complex enterprise IT estate. We need you to help transform a reactive support function into a modern, high-performing technology operation. We will rely on you to improve service delivery, strengthen operational maturity, and support our wider digital transformation roadmap. We need you to build strong relationships across the business and assess operational risks. We expect you to gain visibility across infrastructure, Microsoft 365, security, backups, and support processes. We will look to you to introduce clear SLAs, measurable KPIs, structured incident management, and improved vendor accountability. We need you to coach and develop the existing team toward a more proactive, service-led approach. We expect you to play a key role in delivering priority areas of our digital transformation programme. We will need you to support cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation, and improvements that create a more resilient, scalable, and user-focused IT environment. We expect you to lead across a broad and evolving technology estate, including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, virtualised server infrastructure, enterprise networking, Palo Alto, and Juniper. We need you to support a distributed workforce across multiple UK locations.
