About East Lancs Hospice
East Lancashire Hospice, founded in 1984, is a registered charity supporting patients with life-limiting illnesses, their families, and others close to them. We provide care at the hospice and in patients' homes across Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn, and the Ribble Valley. With approximately 120 employees and over 250 volunteers, our dedicated team strives to deliver excellence with kindness and compassion.
Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and inspiring leader to join our Creative and Support Therapy team. You will lead in assessing and reviewing patients referred to the service, developing tailored interventions to enhance quality of life. You will also develop and deliver bespoke wellbeing programmes for individuals and groups, contributing to the hospice's strategic goals.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess excellent people skills, experience in assessment and therapeutic programme delivery, and be a proactive leader who can adapt to change. A non-judgemental, empathetic approach, good humour, and a holistic understanding of physical, psychological, spiritual, and emotional needs are essential.
What We Offer
The salary range for this role is £25,293.33 - £25,861.73 for 35 hours, depending on experience (full-time equivalent £27,100 - £27,709). Hours are on a rota basis across 5 of any 7 days, with occasional evening and weekend work.
