An exciting opportunity has arisen at Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin, for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly team of professionals as a permanent Band 7 CT superintendent radiographer.
Elgin is situated on the south coast of the Moray Firth in the North East of Scotland within an area of outstanding natural beauty, offering vibrant cultural and sporting activities. It is 40 miles from Inverness and 70 miles from Aberdeen.
We are seeking an experienced cross-sectional radiographer to lead, manage, and develop the 24/7 CT service at this busy district general hospital.
Radiology services are provided to GPs, Orthopaedics, Cardiology, Paediatrics, Medical, General Surgery, A&E, Rheumatology, Respiratory, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Orthodontics.
The department actively encourages and supports professional development, CPD, and role extension.
The successful candidate will be expected to deputise for the Site/Deputy Superintendent when required, possess sound knowledge of general radiography and workflows, and lead Quality Assurance and Clinical Audit programmes.
