This is an exciting permanent opportunity to join a leading IT and Cyber Security consultancy, recognised for its expertise in delivering complex programmes across the public sector.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with active Security Clearance who thrives in delivering IT and digital projects.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The role combines hands-on project delivery with proactive stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment between technical teams and business objectives.
You will define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, developing detailed project plans to support successful delivery.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
* Manage and deliver IT and digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and governance frameworks
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate project outcomes across complex environments
* Oversee planning, prioritisation, and delivery of workstreams, ensuring effective resource utilisation
* Facilitate project governance forums, reporting, and stakeholder briefings
* Provide oversight and support to junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency of delivery
* Monitor and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies across project lifecycles
* Support audit activities and ensure traceability of project outputs within client frameworks
* Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders to support informed decision-making
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL?
* Proven experience delivering IT or digital transformation or Cyber Security projects
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
* Experience managing cross-functional teams and engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Demonstrated ability to manage project risks, dependencies, and competing priorities effectively
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to senior stakeholders
* Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
* Ability to operate in structured, governance-driven environments
* Current and active security clearance
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
* Familiarity with ITIL, cyber security principles, frameworks, or risk management practices
* Relevant certifications such as PRINCE2, APM, AgilePM, or Scrum
* Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. IT, Project Management, Risk, or similar)
